What It Does
The Setup Wizard runs automatically the first time you open TorlyAI. It walks you through 8 steps — from creating your workspace to meeting your AI team — so you can start building your business plan with confidence.
You can re-run the wizard at any time from Settings → Re-run Setup Wizard.
The 8 Steps
Welcome
Introduction to TorlyAI and what the wizard will cover.
Create Workspace
Name your workspace and choose a folder. TorlyAI auto-generates a default path so you can just click Next.
Your Profile
Enter your name, country, and a brief description of your business context. This helps the AI agents tailor their advice.
GDPR Consent
Review and accept data processing terms. All data stays on your machine — TorlyAI is privacy-first with AES-256 encryption.
The 6-Phase Journey
An animated timeline walkthrough of Plan, Ideate, Draft, Model, Prove, and Submit — the end-to-end visa application workflow.
Meet Your AI Team
Interactive cards introducing all 6 agents: McGonagall, Dumbledore, Harry, Hermione, Kingsley, and Dobby — with their roles and expertise.
API Key
Enter your Anthropic API key. TorlyAI encrypts it locally with AES-256-GCM — it never leaves your machine.
Quick Start
Choose how to begin: start idea discovery, seed a 17-task workflow template, or jump straight to chat.
Progress Indicator
A numbered step tracker at the top of the wizard shows your progress through all 8 steps. Completed steps are highlighted in green and you can click any completed step to go back and change your answers.

Idea Discovery
Start brainstorming with Harry. Explore multiple business ideas and evaluate them against the 4F Formula.
Seed Workflow
Populate your Kanban board with a 17-task template covering all 6 phases — a ready-made roadmap from Plan to Submit.
Jump to Chat
Skip the guided path and start a free-form conversation with any agent immediately.
Re-running the Wizard
You can revisit the setup wizard at any time from the application settings. This is useful if you want to update your profile, review the journey phases, or change your workspace configuration.
Settings → Re-run Setup Wizard — your existing data is preserved; only the settings you change will be updated.
