Deliverables

Connect outputs to the tasks that produced them

What It Does

The deliverable system tracks specific outputs that contribute to your business plan:

  • Auto-detects deliverables when AI agents produce content in chat
  • Links outputs to tasks so every piece of work is traceable
  • Provides navigation — click a deliverable to jump to the original message
  • Tracks metadata including word count, creator, and a content preview

Deliverable Types

There are five types of deliverable, each representing a different kind of output:

📄 BP Section

A business plan section draft — Executive Summary, Products & Services, etc.

📊 Financial Model

Financial projections or analysis — 3-year forecast, unit economics, etc.

🔍 Research

Market or competitive research — UK market sizing, competitor analysis, etc.

📝 Document

General documents or reports — strategy memos, meeting notes, etc.

✅ Checklist

Structured checklists — visa evidence checklist, compliance items, etc.

How It Works

Automatic Detection

When an AI team member produces content during a chat session, TorlyAI can automatically detect and link the output as a deliverable. The system recognises outputs from specific tools:

  • Business plan section generators → BP Section deliverables
  • Financial modelling tools → Financial Model deliverables
  • Market research tools → Research deliverables
  • Document creation tools → Document deliverables
  • Checklist generators → Checklist deliverables

If a session is already linked to a task, the deliverable is attached to that task automatically. If no task exists, one is created for you.

Manual Linking

You can also manually mark chat outputs as deliverables:

  1. 1
Find the AI response in your chat session
  2. 2
Click the Actions menu (three dots) on the message
  3. 3
    Select Mark as Deliverable
  4. 4
Choose which task the deliverable belongs to

Viewing Deliverables

In the Task Detail Panel

  1. 1
Click a task card to open its detail panel
  2. 2
Scroll to Deliverables — each shows type icon, title, preview, creator, and word count
  3. 3
Click any deliverable to jump to the original message in the chat session

Removing Deliverables

If a deliverable was linked incorrectly or is no longer relevant:

  1. 1
    Open the task detail panel
  2. 2
Hover over the deliverable to reveal the ✕ button
  3. 3
Click Confirm — this only unlinks the deliverable; the original chat message is not affected

Tips

  • Let auto-detection work — the system handles most deliverable linking automatically when sessions are connected to tasks
  • Mark important outputs manually — if a particularly valuable response was not auto-detected, mark it yourself
  • Use deliverables for evidence — when preparing for your endorsement interview, deliverables show a clear trail of research, analysis, and writing
  • Check completed tasks — a task marked "Done" without any deliverables may be missing tracked outputs
